The John Deere barn-Stumptown Rd, Sommerton, Oh. During completion of the first tractor-the owner asked if I could reproduce one of his John Deere 620 tractors he owned. So, I did and was very pleased with the upgrade. This is one of my proudest "Barnart" to date. This one would really be worth the drive to see in person, and the owner would enjoy the visit. Whitewater Canal; Indiana. Picture of an aqueduct just a few feet from the barn. Town of Brookville celebrating 200 years. Kent, Connecticut Land Trust (My 10th state to paint in). This one was painted "dry brush" to give it an old, "been painted for years" look. Updated the Belmont County Bicentennial barn and combined it with the quilt square project in that county. Others are more of that project.
White House Tennessee barn -my 11th state. Missouri Farmers Association. 2 towers, four logo's. 135-160 feet tall. I broke my working height record here, oh-by about a hundred feet. More work in Mizzu, this time back to earth on a wavy metal barn. The ear of corn had around 360 kernels in it, and was just shy of 40' itself.. My Dad did most of those kernels while I concentrated on the lettering. This one took 4 days to complete. (state 12) Some additional work @ Beallsville High School. A bonus pic of my woodpile. Not barn related, but much more work here than any barn I think. I save about $3000.00 a year by heating my house and shop with wood.
