The freehand art of old still lives on and here you may see why. Barn Artist Scott Hagan of Jerusalem, Ohio, has been traveling the country since 1997, painting on a rather large canvas...barns, buildings, water towers, and even athletic fields. From state wide celebrations like Ohio's Bicentennial in 2003, county projects such as the quilt square patterns in Monroe County Ohio, and the Madison County/Niagara County N.Y. series of birthday barns, it can be as simple as a farm name to whatever can be imagined. Private farm and ranch owners round out many of the paintings seen here, as well as barn advertisement projects. Find your way through the photographs and give us a shout if you have questions unanswered or would like a quote on your project.
